A premium post is a post that falls within one of your memberships, meaning in order to be seen, a user needs to be a subscriber to a membership that opens up your premium posts.
There are 2 main types of posts
- Free posts - these are available for everyone to see. You may want to have some teaser content here or release a single portion of your paid content but its really up to you
- Premium posts - premium posts can only be viewed if a user has subscribed to one of your memberships where you open up your premium posts.
Creating a premium post is easy. You can create a post either from directly within your profile page or from any page on the website using the add post option in the menu bar (see below)
Click on 'New post' and a dialogue box will open like the below:
As a default the post content is set to "Free". To turn this into a premium post simply Hit the toggle option where it asked whether this is "Premium Content?". It should look like this:
When a user views your profile and is not subscribed to any memberships that open up premium content, then the post will be 'locked' as you can see below:
Clicking "Unlock post" will take users to your memberships where they can unlock your premium content.
